Early Round Auditions – 25 to 30 September

Late Round Auditions – 27 November to 8 December (excluding weekends)

Late request for auditions/interviews may only be considered for applications lodged to UAC by end of October. (No late applications will be accepted for applicants for Contemporary Music Practice). Please email email@example.com to discuss before lodging your application.

University Admission Centre (UAC) Applicants
A non-refundable $50 administration fee is charged by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for every audition/interview application (please refer to our online application form for payment link). For information about the fees and charges associated with UAC applications, please visit the UAC website.
Postgraduate and International Students
There are no audition application fees for postgraduate and international students.
Instrumental applicants are required to provide their own accompanist – we can provide a list of recommended accompanists. Booking an accompanist (including cost) is up to the individual applicant. No recorded accompaniment is permitted.

Jazz applicants will perform with staff from the Conservatorium jazz division as part of their audition – this accompaniment is provided free of charge. Please refer to the jazz area of study page for more information.
