Put your spin on a classic piece of music for the chance to win generous prizes to support your musical career.
If you’re enthusiastic about composition and music technology, why not show off your creative skills in our inaugural Con Remix 17 competition.
The starting point for this year’s competition is Gustav Holst’s The Planets. Your challenge is to remix samples from this epic orchestral suite into something entirely new and original, in any musical or aesthetic genre.
This is an opportunity to showcase your talents in music production, sound design, mixing and mastering, and put your music in the public eye. The winning entries will be promoted to a wide audience on our website.
At the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (the Con) our teaching programs range from classical music and opera to the latest in contemporary, including the new Bachelor of Music (Digital Music and Media). Our studios are equipped with exceptional technology for producing electronic music to support your creativity and future musical career.
