Ms Karen Lemon

Karen Lemon is a musicologist and composer. Her PhD thesis in Musicology from the University of Sydney focussed on Arnold Schoenberg’s music and writings of the first two decades of the twentieth century. She has had compositions performed in Australia, France and China. In addition, as a vocalist she was a foundation member of the new music ensemble The Contemporary Singers and director of the jazz a cappella quintet The Five Skins. She divides her time between Australia and France.
