Technology in Music Education Public Presentation of Learning
Friday 24 November 2017
Level 2, Sydney Conservatorium of Music
The Conservatorium’s Technology in Music Education course was inspiration for the University of Sydney’s first MOOC (Massively Open Online Course) The Place of Music in 21st Century Education (now with over 4000 learners internationally!), and exposes third year Music Education students to the latest technologies and practice around them. Now in our 4th year of public presentations of learning, these events have become extremely popular for NSW teachers to see how upcoming educators are experimenting with technology, and have resulted in our students being asked to bring their new digital materials into the classroom.
Refreshments will be provided, and guest speaker Adrian Kingwell, composer and technology teacher from Cranbrook School, will offer his insights on the work presented.
Join us for refreshments and to continue the conversation afterwards.
