The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music offer you the opportunity to attend a masterclass with acclaimed violinist, Shunske Sato. You are invited to witness him working with talented students, workshopping techniques to perfect their craft in an ‘open lesson’ format.
Shunske Sato is a violinist known for his distinctive and engaging performances on both modern and historical instruments. He is equally in demand as concertmaster, chamber musician, soloist and teacher. Resident in The Netherlands, Shunske serves as concertmaster of Concerto Köln and the Netherlands Bach Society, and is often invited as a guest concertmaster for ensembles such as the Freiburger Barockorchester and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Shunske is in Australia performing with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra in a program featuring Grieg, Mendelssohn, and the first ever performance of Paganini’s 4th violin concerto on period instruments.
