Join Dr Raymond Holden for an exploration of music of Weber, Mahler and Mozart through the performances, scores and films of Willem Mengelberg, Bruno Walter, Leonard Bernstein, Sir Charles Mackerras and Carlos Kleiber.
Dr Raymond Holden – the Sir John Barbirolli Reader in Music at the Royal Academy of Music, London – is presenting special workshops in Conducting at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Born in Australia, Dr Holden has conducted internationally renowned orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra and has spoken at the world's leading festivals, universities and conservatories including Glyndebourne and Oxford.
