Stephanie McCallum and Erin Helyard, performing on a copy of a Graf piano from 1819, present Moscheles’ Grande Sonata in E flat major Op.47 from the same year. Once performed by Moscheles with Chopin as his partner, this richly rewarding work is paired with the well-loved four hands Fantasy in F minor by Schubert, bringing to life expressive early  keyboard Romanticism.
