About Music Education: Liveschool: Theory through practice with Adam Maggs
Monday 5 September 2016
Recital Hall West
Level 1, Sydney Conservatorium of Music Sydney NSW
This 20 minute presentation will be in two parts: how music technology can be used to inspire students to want to learn music theory, and how the laptop and music production processes can be used and played like a traditional musical instrument.
Adam Maggs is the founder and curriculum developer of Liveschool, a boutique music school where the teachers are a selection of leading electronic music producers and the students are taught everything they need to know about how to write, produce and perform using just their laptop, no prior experience required.
Join us for refreshments and to continue the conversation afterwards.
